The work I make for myself
Before the brands and campaigns, there was drawing. These are the pieces I made for the love of it: fine art from school, Photoshop composites and photography.

Fine art
These pieces come from early in my career, from high school through college. This is where my design eye started and where my technical skills were honed, one study at a time. Most of them took more than 40 hours to finish.

Composite images
I combined a range of digital assets to build entirely new photographic stories. The art direction was inspired by Salvador Dalí's approach to perspective and storytelling. Each composition brings together more than 50 separate images from free sources. It's a personal passion and a way to explore color, composition and layout while sharpening my technique.

Photography
Before I opened Satin & Silk Studio, photography was how I practiced seeing: coastlines, sunsets, quiet details and the people and animals around me. I shot on a Sony a7 III and edited everything in Photoshop.
